The, even more, impossible to acquire Nissan R31 Skyline Shifter Boot Insulator is finally here!
This insulator helps cut down on in-cabin heat coming from under the car by adding another layer and helping seal the shifter hole a bit more. It works in conjunction with our shifter boot to make the interior a far more pleasant to be.
It's designed to work in conjunction with our shifter boot and is our best effort to replicate the original part. We highly recommend you only run this under a shifter boot and not on its own as this will not sufficiently seal the cabin from fumes or smoke.
This item has been discontinued from Nissan for a number of years and currently unavailable in the aftermarket. But here at Fury Garage, we have reverse engineered the factory item and adapted the shape so it's possible to print with minimal support material. The insulator is printed from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) which has a working temperature range of -40 to 90 Deg C and is nice and flexible to handle the movement of shifting and flex from engine mounts.
As these parts are ever evolving and our design ever improving please be aware that failures may occur and this part may not handle high heat or excessive abuse over longer periods of time. With this in mind, we are always improving and refining our products and are open to suggestions on how we can improve for the next iteration.
Because we are always improving our parts and pushing our printers to their functional limits, part failures are bound to happen. If you have a part that fails for any reason, please take photos and contact us so we can arrange a replacement part or a full refund. (Provided our part has failed under reasonable operation)

This item will fit an R31 Skyline Chassis with a 6 cylinder RB engine that has the shifter in a factory location. It should also work for any 6 cylinder engine with a manual transmission that puts the shifter towards the rear of the shifter hole.
